Open a job card
If the job card already exists this becomes its next lot. Serial numbers come from the released pool first, so they need not run consecutively.
The job card
The sheet is the bulk route — download, fill at the bench, upload. The grid below is for corrections and shows everything.
Boxes on this lot
Edit any cell. Changed cells stay highlighted until saved. Grey rows cannot be changed by you — hover to see why.
Undo
Mistakes happen. Removing returns every serial number to the pool and the next job card reuses them, so nothing is stranded. The one step that cannot be undone is the invoice — by then the number is on a printed label.
Addressing
Addresses are unique across the whole site, so a later lot continues the sequence. Where every floor has a readable number the trunk is floor × 10 + 1 — ground 1, first 11, second 21.
Unsealing is the only way back into a batch once its Belimo file has gone up. Delete those VAVs from the cloud project and upload a fresh file as the next revision — the cloud will not overwrite one already there. Then the bench can unlock the batch and change what it needs to.
Looking at a lot
Read only — nothing here can be changed. To amend, open the lot above, or unlock it if it is already in the Belimo cloud.
Allocate
Batches already in the cloud
Each wave that went together. Rebuild one exactly as it was sent, or take the whole lot as a single merged file — which holds only what is actually in the cloud.
Unlocking uploaded cloud projects
Open shows the lot and changes nothing — most of the time that is all you want. Unlock declares that the Belimo project is being rewritten: it releases the hold those Box IDs have as programmed controllers, so sizes can change and serials can be freed. Invoiced boxes have shipped and are always left alone.
Invoice at despatch
Completes the VAV Serial No — MM-YY-JC-INV-SIZE-SERIAL. Despatches need not follow calibration order. After this the serial can never be released.
Correct or remove
Removing returns the serials to the pool for the next job card. Refused for anything invoiced — that number is on a label.
Print labels
Both sheets read straight from the database. Labels come after the invoice is stamped, because the invoice completes the serial the label carries — tick Proof on the label page to print before that.
Calibration record
Every field, for whatever you can name — a job card, an invoice, a serial read off a label, a site, or the whole year.
The year at a glance
What happened
Append-only. Every serial that moved, every field edited, every lock. This is where "why is this number on this job card" gets answered.
Serial numbers waiting to be reused
Freed when boxes were removed. The next job card takes these before any fresh number.
Find a box
Controller number, Box ID, VAV serial, running serial, site or job card. Part of any of them will do.
Users
Sales planning amends job cards until a box is calibrated. Calibration records the figures and can correct anything, including after invoicing. Networking allocates, vets and locks. Despatch stamps invoices.

dP thresholds by size
A reading outside the band is flagged at the bench, never refused. Starts empty.
