DAC VAV Commissioning

Find a box

Controller number, Box ID, VAV serial, running serial, site or job card. Part of any of them will do — a serial read off a photograph is often incomplete.

Open a job card

Serial numbers are allocated here, continuing from the last one issued, so two people can no longer draw from the same block. The Box ID is built now and never changes — despatch adds the invoice to the VAV Serial No later.

Lines — one per model and size. Tags are optional; paste them comma separated if sales has given them.

Calibration sheet

Download the sheet for a job card, fill the yellow columns at the bench, then upload it back. Nothing is saved unless every row is valid.

Addressing

Addresses are unique across the whole site, not just the job card, so a later phase continues the sequence instead of restarting it.

Belimo upload file

Refuses to produce a file if any check fails. Leave the serial numbers blank for the whole job card.

Invoice at despatch

Completes the VAV Serial No — MM-YY-JC-INV-SIZE-SERIAL. The Box ID is left exactly as programmed, because it is locked to a controller in the Belimo cloud.

Mismatched records

The label master and the Belimo cloud disagree about these boxes. Both records are kept, so the box is findable whichever one the label was printed from. The cloud record is what is programmed.

Sites

One site per building — it is the BACnet boundary, so addresses and object names are unique within it.

Merge two sites

For spelling variants, and for the "(JC nnn)" splits once the real end customer is known. Refused if it would collide addresses or names.

Users

PROD opens job cards. CALIB opens job cards and records calibration. COMMISS allocates, downloads and merges sites. DESPATCH stamps invoices.
