Find a box
Controller number, Box ID, VAV serial, running serial, site or job card. Part of any of them will do — a serial read off a photograph is often incomplete.
Open a job card
Project, job card, month and how many VAVs — that is all. The running serials are reserved now; everything else comes on the sheet.
- Open the job card here. It reserves the serial numbers.
- Download the sheet on the Calibration tab and fill it at the bench.
- Upload it back. The Box ID is built from the size on that first upload and never changes afterwards.
Change a job card
Customers change sizes and quantities part way through. Any of this is refused once a box has been uploaded to the Belimo cloud, because its Box ID is written into a controller by then.
Calibration sheet
Everything is entered here: model, size, tag, floor, AHU and the four airflow figures. Only the Running Serial and Box ID columns are locked. Nothing is saved unless every row is valid.
Addressing
Addresses are unique across the whole site, not just the job card, so a later phase continues the sequence instead of restarting it.
Belimo upload file
Refuses to produce a file if any check fails. Leave the serial numbers blank for the whole job card.
Invoice at despatch
Completes the VAV Serial No — MM-YY-JC-INV-SIZE-SERIAL. The Box ID is left exactly as programmed, because it is locked to a controller in the Belimo cloud.
Records to review
Three different situations, needing different actions. MISMATCH is a real conflict — two records for one running serial that disagree. CLOUD_ONLY and LABEL_ONLY are not conflicts: the box is simply absent from one of the two masters.
Sites
One site per building — it is the BACnet boundary, so addresses and object names are unique within it.
Merge two sites
For spelling variants, and for the "(JC nnn)" splits once the real end customer is known. Refused if it would collide addresses or names.
Users
PROD opens job cards. CALIB opens job cards and records calibration. COMMISS allocates, downloads and merges sites. DESPATCH stamps invoices.
